Supports Chapter Leadership in all aspects of chapter activities, including creating written and graphic design material, event planning, supporting sponsorship and member relationships, creative outreach and project management, financial tracking, distributing materials and representing the Chapter in written and verbal communications.
Support and cultivate relations with sponsors, mentors, and affiliates through timely and thoughtful communication.
Creating mid-year and year-end summaries of what CCGBC is doing in order to keep the value of our work fresh in the minds of our supporters while letting them know they are appreciated and necessary contributors to the CCGBC Mission.
Spearhead marketing and outreach efforts along with creating the graphic material to support and advertise our projects and announcements.
Create written and graphic documentation using appropriate software
Organize and implement projects including events, programs and educational programs
Organize and maintain project files in a consistent manner
Perform research and documentation to support project needs
Research what events and actions are relevant to our mission and share the opportunities with the board and CCGBC membership.
Maintain website, membership database and communication protocol through social media, newsletter, and direct messaging.
Support event planning (small to large scale, online and in-person)
Manage your own time and communicate clearly to the team regarding project status and requests for additional information.
Ability to communicate through a variety of mediums always clearly, direction, honesty, and willingness to receive feedback for improvement
Experience utilizing creative problem-solving skills, holistic approaches, and systems thinking
Passion for advancing sustainable environments and enthusiasm to support those doing so
Ability to move forward on and adapt with projects
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and grow
Impeccable work ethic
LEED Green Associate preferred, but not required
Experience with online marketing and fundraising desired, but not required
Communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration and relationship building
Exceptional conceptual design and systems-thinking,
Ability to translate information comfortably into marketing material
Event coordination experience
Hosting and supporting group meetings online
Exceptional graphic design skills using Adobe CC, Canva, or similar
Verbal and written communication skills with a diligent attention to detail and design
Adobe Design Suite or Canva, Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PPT, O365, and Outlook) proficiency (or willingness to learn)
Experience with website design software, willing and able to upkeep and manage a website
